Welcome to
The Bridge Run
About the Race
I wonder how many bridges I could fit into a half-marathon?
What started as an idle thought grew into "The Bridge Run" in the midst of the 2020 pandemic when three half-marathoners and six 10k'ers gathered together to span a total of 78 bridges in 76 miles while raising $440 for charity.
A couple years and an additional 5k route later, The Bridge Run has grown in to a fun-filled, all paces welcome, community event.

The race features relaxed vibes, beautiful river views, and plenty of Bridge facts: did you know that Stone Arch is the only arched bridge made of stone on the Mississippi and is the second oldest bridge on the river? (Eads Bridge, St. Louis, MO is the oldest).

In appreciation of the river we cross, all proceeds go the the Mississippi Park Connection who help "strengthen the enduring connection between people and the Mississippi River by enriching the life of the river and the lives of all who experience our national park, the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area."

We hope to see you at our next event, Saturday, Sep. 21st, 2024 for this special 5th year Anniversary of The Bridge Run!
